Nicole Farnsworth MS, RD, CSSD, LDN, CPT
Nicole Farnsworth is a board-certified sports dietitian specializing in performance nutrition, low energy availability, disordered eating and eating disorders, and perinatal sports nutrition. In addition to her role as a Clinical Dietitian at Laura Moretti Nutrition, she works with the Female Athlete Program and Division of Sports Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital.
In addition to her clinical roles, Nicole is a researcher and is leading a Female Athlete Program Delphi study that aims to develop a consensus regarding postpartum return to sport research recommendations. Nicole also serves on the Female Athlete Conference Planning Committee, and co-chaired the international conference in 2021 and 2023.
Nicole received her Bachelor’s degree from Harvard University, where she competed for the track and field team in the heptathlon and pentathlon. Nicole received her Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition at Columbia University’s Institute of Human Nutrition and completed a dietetic internship at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center. Prior to her roles at Laura Moretti Nutrition and the Female Athlete Program, Nicole worked at Van Dusen Nutrition, a Needham-based group nutrition practice, where she used her extensive experience as a personal trainer to assist in developing a movement-based curriculum, helping clients redefine their relationship with exercise.
